  Leo Sharashkin
Leo learned the ancient craft of traditional Russian woodcarving through apprenticeship in Moscow with Master Ladonin, who generously shared with him ancient techniques and symbols. He currently lives with his family in Columbia, MO, making frequent trips to Russia.

As a professional economist, Irina came to the understandig that economy is the art of managing a household. The art she has been perfecting ever since.

  Master Ladonin
Ladonin Alexander Egorovich spent 30 years woodcarving, rediscovering and preserving the ancient Russian tradition. Member of numerous archaeological and ethnographic expeditions, he discovered and restored a number of unique carvings now making part of collections of Russia's richest museums. He especially loves carving the kovsh-konjukh (horse-ladle) from Tver region and traditional symbolic cookie molds. A number of his carvings are presented on this web-site. He currently lives and carves in Moscow, Russia.
